Bilingual Courses
Class design
Certified foreign teachers or local English professional teachers teach first and second graders in the subjects of English, Life English, Physical Education, Integrated Activities, Arts and Craft and Performing Arts. In the future, these students will receive integrated activities, performing art, physical education, science, and math in English with foreign teachers until they have completed the elementary school requirements.
Our school is dedicated to the integration of English into students’ lives. We provide stages for students to show their talents. We evaluate students with their products or contests and tournaments and we give comments according to their performance and in descriptive forms so that parents can be clear about how their kids had been doing in their classes.
課程設計
目前我們的雙語課程是以擁有英語教師認証的中外師為主體，由低年級開始導入，以英語、生活英語、體育、綜合、美勞及表演藝術為主。未來規畫逐年再引入自然及數學直到完成國小教育。
我們的要求是整合英文學習進入同學的日常生活應用中。提供同學表現的舞台。用競賽或闖關或製作成品的方式來評量或驗收同學的學習。在成績的表述，除了數字等第，老師們也會用文字描述讓家長能更明白同學的學習狀況。
Rich and cozy learning environment
Students are taught by a variety of dynamic teaching methods to stimulate students’ enthusiasm in learning. Teachers blend everyday real life experiences or events into their lesson plans so that students can learn and put it to use immediately in their everyday conversation practice. In order to enhance students’ performance in language learning, the students are divided into small groups to maximize their language practice and enhance their language acquisition.
We have English Village scenario classrooms decorated into a supermarket, clinic, hotel, newsroom, etc. This allows students to practice what they learned on site. They can role play and practice their language skill more naturally in the scenario environment.
On the stairs, we have posted useful sentences in English to help students get visually familiar with these sentences and silently read the sentences as they walk by at school every day. We have foreign teachers at the school which allows students to go and practice their English. In the future, if we are equipped with sufficient foreign teachers at the school, we will incorporate foreign teachers to work as co-homeroom teachers to establish a closer relationship that allows for natural conversation.
豐富而舒適的學習環境
我們以各種多元教學方法讓同學啟發並提振同學學習的熱情。老師將日常生活中所接觸到的事件及生活經驗融入課程設計中，讓同學可以即時學到生活中可以用的上的英文，將所學的東西運用於日常生活中。在晨間練習的時間，我們再把同學分小組加強練習，提供更多的學習機會。
因著學校有英語村的實景情境教室，更鼓勵讓同學上場運用，以更自然的角色扮演與情境來練習口說英語。
環境上我們多利用佈置讓同學可以看到英文，讓他們更可以融入英語情境。未來如果教師員額齊備，我們計畫讓外師也入班當協同導師，藉由這樣的關係拉近老師與同學的距離，讓口語溝通更順暢。
Diversified activities
We provide students with abundant opportunities to be on stage. We have tournaments for students twice a semester to review what they’ve learned in school. We train students to sit as broadcasters to read the news and share their ideas in English. We have students to act out the scenes in scenario classrooms to demonstrate their oral skills.
多元化的活動
我們提供同學許多表現的機會，包括一學期二次闖關來評量同學的學習成效。我們訓練同學上台主播新聞及分享自己觀察到的文化分享。我們也利用情境教室來演戲，展示他們的口說能力。

The badge of Happy Elementary School stands for a group of high-quality professional teachers and students that are highly involved in the pursuit of knowledge. We encourage all our teachers and students to be highly involved in the pursuit of knowledge. After six years being encouraged to enjoy learning, our students can acquire the critical abilities needed to meet the changes in the ever challenging world. In our school, everyone can internalize what he or she learn and grow to become decent citizens.
